Plan status bar

The Plan Status Bar in RigBridge is a key feature that helps you track and manage the progress of your drilling plans, from creation to execution. It’s designed for users working in planning and operations on drilling rigs, giving you full control over the lifecycle of each plan.

How it looks

You’ll find the Plan status bar at the top of the Plan Editor, just above the main content area. It’s part of the Plan Header and shows the current state of your plan. The bar changes appearance and available options depending on what stage your plan is in.

Plan status - draft

The typical flow of statuses in the bar is:

  1. Draft: Where all plans start. Editable and not yet shared.

  2. Review / Offshore Draft: Sent for review, allowing comments either onshore or offshore.

  3. Awaiting Approval: Locked for changes until all assigned approvers sign off.

  4. Published: Approved and ready for execution on the rig.

  5. Started / Active: Plan is now running in RigFlow.

  6. Completed / After Action Review (AAR): Execution is finished and final comments and insights can be added.
