RigBridge version 2.7
April 2024
The document covers the release of software updates for RigBridge. This release is primarily a release for introduction of major features, bug fixes and incremental improvements. The new features and bug fixes are outlined in the detailed release notes section.
Master Properties
We're excited to announce a significant enhancement in this release with the introduction of the Master Properties feature. This feature streamlines the management of linked properties in your plans, providing centralized control and facilitating efficient updates.
References
A new references tab is now integrated into the plan. Properties can be grouped for better organization. Each property is created within its designated group, and includes values such as a title, target value (numeric or text), min value, max value, and unit. The references tab also displays links to highlight where each property is referenced in the plan.
Use the References tab for editing and management of properties. Add new properties, modify the title and values of properties, or delete them directly from the references tab.
Please note that editing properties follows the same allowances/restrictions as the associated plan, e.g. have to unlock to edit when a plan is approved/active etc. Also please note that updating or removing a property in the references tab will not change the property value for completed or active steps.
Review and collaborate
Add a review directly to the property or property group in the references tab.
Copy properties
The references tab is copied along with the plan, facilitating seamless replication. It is also possible to copy one or more property groups or individual properties from one plan to another.
Insert property into the instruction
There are two methods for inserting properties in the plan instructions:
Typing a forward slash [/] opens a shortcut to the Insert property modal.
Or click link content button on the toolbar.
The insert properties modal allows for scrolling or searching in the references.
Once the desired property is selected, the parameter details modal becomes available. From this modal, toggle on/off the property values to display in the instructions and preview its appearance within the instruction.
Operational Parameters
Properties can be added directly to the Operational Parameters List by clicking on add operational parameter and selecting the Insert property function.
If any of the property values are changed from the References tab, the value updates wherever the property has been used in the plan.
This release marks a significant advancement in enhancing the efficiency of managing properties within instructions.

Minor improvements and features
Auto publish is set as default
When a plan is sent for approval, RigBridge allows users to automatically publish it for execution once approval has been granted. This option is now enabled by default – without further user interaction, the plan will be published for execution upon approval.
Removing email from list
Previously, when an email address was used, it would be kept in a system list for further use into insights, review comments, etc.
Now this capability is enhanced with the capability to remove an email address. Upon hovering over an email, a remove icon appears, allowing to adjust for incorrect, invalid or obsolete email addresses.
This allows for a better management of the RigBridge system email list.
Attachments from copied plan
In RigBridge, when copying a plan, the system offers a prompt for the user to specifically review the attachments and replace them if needed.
Previously, the title of the attachment review card was “Confirm copied attachment” and the only option was to complete the review.
Now, this workflow is enhanced for clarity:
Title has been updated to “Review copied attachment”
Clicking the attachment link opens a full screen modal previewing attachment, and which contains three buttons:
Delete: Removes the attachment and its related review box, after showing a delete warning
Replace: Opens a file finder for selecting another attachment; after selection, the model remains open displaying the new attachment
Confirm: Confirm closes the modal and confirms the related review box
Multiple options when downloading PDF
RigBridge has been updated to present options while downloading plan as a PDF, so to match RigFlow capabilities.
It is possible to:
Include the as-run report
Include attachments, while selecting which to include
Adjust font size
Search bar - improvement
The search bar is now improved with the capability to clear all input by clicking on the X icon.
Bux fixes
Comment reference to an updated attachment
Previously, even when an attachment was edited/ removed, any existing review comment would be retained.
To prevent any confusion, it has now been adjusted so that any review comments linked to attachments will now be removed when the attachment is replaced or removed.
